In accordance with Article 10 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia (PTAL), when a Buyer places an order via telephone, internet, email, or fax, a Distance Contract is concluded between the Buyer and the Seller. In compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, SIA „EIRODURVIS” retains purchase contracts concluded with Buyers to the extent necessary for accounting purposes.

This contract is concluded between the owner of the online store www.m-lux.lv, SIA „EIRODURVIS”, registration number 40003831156, legal address: Riga, Slokas iela 111, LV-1067 (hereinafter referred to as the Seller), and the person who places an order and purchases goods in the online store www.m-lux.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Buyer). This Distance Contract governs all purchases and orders made through the www.m-lux.lv online platform. The terms of the contract do not apply to transactions concluded at the Seller’s physical retail locations.

1. Subject of the Contract

The Buyer orders, purchases, and pays for, and the Seller delivers and sells doors, fittings, additional elements, windows, blinds, garage doors, and related services (hereinafter referred to as Goods) in accordance with the terms set forth in this Contract.

2. Order Placement and Data Accuracy

The Buyer places an order for Goods by filling out the designated form on the Seller’s website www.m-lux.lv. When placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to the terms of this Distance Contract, will provide accurate and complete information, including name, surname, delivery address, and contact details, and will confirm this by clicking “Place Order.” The Buyer must inform the Seller of any changes to the data no later than 24 hours after receiving the order confirmation by sending an email to info@m-lux.lv. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the provided data, and inaccurate data may affect the delivery of Goods. Submitting an order is considered the Buyer’s offer to conclude this Distance Contract for the delivery of the ordered Goods and the Buyer’s agreement to purchase the specified Goods at the specified price. Personal data required for the delivery of Goods will not be transferred to third parties, except for Latvijas pasts (Latvian Post) and SIA „OMNIVA” (hereinafter referred to as courier services), to ensure order fulfillment.

3. Delivery, Receipt Conditions, and Costs

The Seller ensures the delivery of Goods to the address specified by the Buyer in accordance with the delivery rates set by the Seller or the courier service. The Buyer pays both the delivery costs and the value of the Goods simultaneously, before order confirmation and shipment of the Goods. The delivery fee is included in the issued invoice. The Buyer also has the option to collect the Goods free of charge at the Seller’s warehouse (Riga, Kurzemes prospekts 3G, LV-1067), by prior agreement on the pickup time from 9:00 to 17:00 on working days.

4. Order Processing Time

Orders can be placed at any time of the day. Order processing and preparation on the Seller’s side take place on working days from 10:00 to 18:00. No order preparation is carried out on Saturdays and Sundays. The Seller sends the Buyer an order acceptance confirmation electronically to the provided email address. If the Buyer does not receive a confirmation email, it means the order has not been registered. Order preparation begins only after the full payment amount is received in the Seller’s bank account.

5. Right of Withdrawal and Return of Goods

The Buyer may exercise the right of withdrawal provided by the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia and return the Goods within 14 (fourteen) calendar days. To avoid disputes, the Buyer is obliged to check the conformity of the Goods to the order (including color, name, and other essential parameters) upon receipt.

5.1. Restrictions on the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal applies only to Goods available for purchase directly from the Seller’s warehouse and not manufactured according to the Buyer’s individual order. Goods manufactured or ordered according to the Buyer’s individual requirements, dimensions, or specifications are not subject to return, and the right of withdrawal does not apply. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal entity.

6. Exchange of Goods in Case of Incorrect Assembly

If the Goods are incorrectly assembled, the Buyer has the right to exchange the Goods within 14 (fourteen) days by filling out the return form. In such cases, all courier service costs are covered by the Seller.

7. Procedure for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

If the Buyer wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal, the following conditions must be met:

7.1. The returned Goods must not have been used (taking into account the specificity of the Goods). If the condition of the returned Goods has deteriorated due to improper storage or handling by the Buyer, the Buyer does not have the right to exercise the right of withdrawal.

7.2. The Buyer is obliged to retain the original packaging of the Goods. If the packaging has been opened and is not damaged, the Goods will be accepted. However, if the packaging is damaged during opening (crumpled, torn, or otherwise damaged), the Seller has the right to deduct 50 EUR for each packaging of the returned group of Goods from the amount to be refunded to the Buyer.

7.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must download the withdrawal form from the Seller’s website, fill it out, and send it to the Seller’s email address info@m-lux.lv.

7.4. The Buyer is obliged to retain both the courier service documents for the receipt of the Goods and the postal/courier service documents for the return of the Goods to the Seller.

7.6. The Seller transfers the money for the returned Goods to the bank account specified by the Buyer in the withdrawal form within 14 (fourteen) calendar days after the termination of the Contract and receipt of the Goods specified in the withdrawal form at the Seller’s warehouse (Riga, Kurzemes prospekts 3G, LV-1067), based on the Buyer’s submitted withdrawal. Delivery costs are borne by the Buyer.

8. Procedure for Returning Goods and Refunding Money

The Buyer is obliged to return the Goods to the Seller without undue delay, but no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days after sending the withdrawal form to the Seller. Upon receipt of the returned Goods at the Seller’s warehouse, the Seller undertakes to promptly, but no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days, refund all payments received from the Buyer for the Goods based on this Distance Contract.

9. Warranty and Submission of Claims

9.1. All goods purchased in the online store www.m-lux.lv are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty and/or the specified validity period.

9.2. The manufacturer’s warranty period is the 24-month period stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
ATTENTION: By refusing the services of “installation” and “delivery to the floor,” the product loses its warranty (except in cases where the claims department has recognized a manufacturing defect).

The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to cosmetic surface defects located in areas that will be completely covered and not visible after the product’s installation. This includes, for example, minor scratches, dents, or other visual defects on the bottom and side parts of metal door frames, side edges of window or interior door frames, which will be embedded in the wall, covered with finishing materials, trims, or fittings during installation. Such defects do not affect the product’s functionality, durability, or intended service life and are not considered manufacturing defects.

9.3. The manufacturer’s warranty conditions apply if the Buyer can present:
9.3.1. A document confirming the purchase (e.g., receipt or invoice);
9.3.2. A warranty certificate issued by the Seller.

9.4. Warranty conditions do not apply to additional accessories of the Goods (e.g., accessories), handles, as well as hinge noises, regulator misalignment, or wear of sealing gaskets.

9.5. The manufacturer’s warranty is void if the damage is caused by the fault of the Buyer or user, including but not limited to:
9.5.1. Damage to warranty seals or serial numbers of the Goods;
9.5.2. The Goods were not used for their intended purpose or were operated not in accordance with the user manual;
9.5.3. Scratches, structural damage, maintenance of the Goods with inappropriate means, presence of foreign objects in the Goods, ingress of sand, dust, or other signs indicating improper use of the Goods;
9.5.4. Damage caused by non-compliance with manufacturer’s standards, extreme temperature fluctuations, or the influence of household or external factors (e.g., soot, smoke, dust, humidity, impacts, scratches);
9.5.5. Evidence of unqualified repairs on the product;
9.5.6. Damage caused by natural wear of components;
9.5.7. Use of non-standard accessories, spare parts, or materials (e.g., locks, cylinders, etc.) not certified by the manufacturer for use with the specific Goods, resulting in damage to the Goods;
9.5.8. Damage caused by improper transportation of the Goods.

9.6. If the Goods are damaged, the Buyer has the following options:
9.6.1. Visit the service center specified in the distributor’s warranty certificate (bringing the purchase confirmation document and warranty certificate);
9.6.2. Contact the www.m-lux.lv customer service specialist, who will recommend the best solution.

9.7. If warranty service is not applicable and the Buyer refuses paid repairs, the Buyer is obliged to cover diagnostic costs, and the Buyer receives a service center report on the identified damages. If the Buyer agrees to paid repairs, diagnostic costs are not charged.

10. Other Provisions

All disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved amicably through negotiations. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Latvia.

11. Entry into Force of the Contract

The contract enters into force at the moment the Buyer places an order in the online store www.m-lux.lv.
